The Western Australian Skilled Migration Occupation List has been updated for the 2013 – 2014 year.

This skilled occupation list was updated on 18 October 2013 by The Department of Training and Workforce Development and contains a list of occupations that are eligible for State Nomination.

You must have an occupation on the Western Australian Skilled Migration Occupation List (WASMOL) to be invited to apply for State nomination.

If you have lodged an application for State nomination prior to the release of the new WASMOL, your application will not be affected by the change of list.

If you have an occupation identified on the Western Australian skilled migration occupation list, you  may be eligible for Western Australian State nomination using the following visas:

Skilled – Nominated (subclass 190) visa or Skilled – Nominated (Provisional) (subclass 489) visa

Please contact Migration Australia WA to check the status of your occupation on the list. We will be able to check if your occupation is currently available for State nomination.

Please note: Occupations may become unavailable without notice.

There is also a limited number of WA State nominations available for applicants with Schedule 2 (offlist) occupations on the Western Australian skilled migration occupation list.

Please contact us for further information and to arrange for a visa assessment. If you wish, you can arrange for a face to face consultation for a nominal fee where our Registered Migration Agent can give you further in-depth advice.
